Frequently Asked Questions
What is the swim test?
In order to be on the team a swimmer must demonstrate two (2) skills:
1. swim one length (25 yards non-stop) of freestyle using rotary breathing (breathing to the side)
2. swim one length (same) of backstroke alternating arms.
If a swimmer can do these two skills they would start in our Beginner group. The swim test only takes a few minutes but this is a great time to meet and learn about the program.
